On April 29, 1943 Dorothy Hohenberger enlisted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). Hohenberger arrived at Camp Ritchie as a WAAC. The WAAC's were converted to active duty on July 1, 1943 at the Women's Army Corps (WAC). RG Hohenberger completed Special Course SC8 in Photo Interpretation (PI).
