He studied to be a Radio Operator with the 61st Signal Radio Intercept Company and in June 1944 was transferred to Camp Ritchie. He was released from Camp Ritchie on September 18, 1944 and traveled to Camp Kilmer where he embarked via RMS Queen Mary. Sharon Delaney has provided these additional documents about Ritchie Boy Frank Hauser that refer to his being inducted into the Army at Camp Croft in South Carolina, attended ASTU training in Denver, and finally was sent to the the Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie. | |||
