Photos collects archival and commemorative images related to the Ritchie Boys.
Stephen Goodell spent many hours in the National Archives finding photos that relate to the Ritchie Boys. We believe that most, if not all, of the photos were taken by the United States Army Signal Corps.
The file name for a number of the photos may describe what is happening in the photo. Some may have no specific label giving any context.
The photos, to the best of our knowledge, are all in the public domain. Copies of photographic records held by the National Archives may be published without special permission. The National Archives does not grant exclusive or non-exclusive publication privileges. Copies of Federal records, as part of the public domain, are equally available to all.

Identify people in photos[edit | edit source]
Help turn the Signal Corps folder into profile-linked evidence:
- Open the Drive folder above and note any filename or caption that names a person, team, or place.
- Search that name on the Find a soldier box.
- On the soldier page, use Contribute files (or Special:Upload) to add the image to Gallery with a caption that names the person and cites the National Archives / Signal Corps source.
- Prefer a confirmed portrait as the profile photo; keep group scenes and documents in the Gallery.
