Albert G. Rosenberg was a German-born Jewish refugee who served as a United States Army intelligence and psychological-warfare officer in World War II. After fleeing Nazi violence in Germany for the United States, he enlisted in October 1942 and later trained at [[Camp Ritchie]] ([[:Category:Class 18|Class 18]], interrogation of prisoners of war, German) and at [[Camp Sharpe]], Pennsylvania, for mobile radio broadcasting / psychological warfare work with the 4th Mobile Radio Broadcasting Company. At Camp Sharpe he worked under instructor [[Habe-Bekessy, Hans (32719455)|Hans Habe]].

In Europe, Rosenberg led an intelligence team that entered Buchenwald after its liberation in April 1945 and, with former prisoners including Eugen Kogon, compiled the investigation later known as ''The Buchenwald Report''. The German-language report informed war-crimes work; an English translation edited by David A. Hackett was published in 1995 after Rosenberg rediscovered his copy decades later.

After the war Rosenberg earned a master’s degree in social work and worked in community organization and urban programs in several U.S. cities. He later taught at the University of Texas at El Paso. He died in December 2014.
