Albert G. Rosenberg was a German-born Jewish refugee who served as a United States Army intelligence and psychological-warfare officer in World War II. After fleeing Nazi violence in Germany for the United States, he enlisted in October 1942 and later trained at [[Camp Ritchie]] ([[:Category:Class 18|Class 18]], interrogation of prisoners of war, German) and at [[Camp Sharpe]], Pennsylvania, for mobile radio broadcasting / psychological warfare work with the 4th Mobile Radio Broadcasting Company. At Camp Sharpe he worked under instructor [[Habe-Bekessy, Hans (32719455)|Hans Habe]]. | |||
In Europe, Rosenberg led an intelligence team that entered Buchenwald after its liberation in April 1945 and, with former prisoners including Eugen Kogon, compiled the investigation later known as ''The Buchenwald Report''.
