Emil H. Chimot was born on 14 March 1902 in Paris, France. He married Louise Briton in Paris in 1923; the couple settled in Battle Creek, Michigan, about 1927, where he worked as laundry manager at Leila Hospital.
 
Chimot enlisted on 2 July 1942 and was promoted from private to sergeant before transfer from Savannah, Illinois, to [[Camp Ritchie]], Maryland ([[Class 3]]), for Military Intelligence Training Center duty (reported address: M.I.T. Co., 2nd Infantry, Training Battalion). He completed U.S. Citizenship qualifications in 1942. He died in 1983.

Emil H. Chimot was born on 14 March 1902 in Paris, France. He married Louise Briton in Paris in 1923; the couple settled in Battle Creek, Michigan, about 1927, where he worked as laundry manager at Leila Hospital.

Chimot enlisted on 2 July 1942 and was promoted from private to sergeant before transfer from Savannah, Illinois, to Camp Ritchie, Maryland (Class 3), for Military Intelligence Training Center duty (reported address: M.I.T.
