From 1940 to 1941 he studied welding techniques at Engineering School in Milwaukee (night). On 27 November 1942, he was naturalized as citizen in Galveston, TX. Sandor worked as a author of autobiography “Greenhorn”. He worked full time as welder and tool dresser. He member of PI Team 30 attached to 1st Army (APID).
