Thanks to Ritchie Boy historian Dan Gross for forwarding to me a timeline for Ritchie Boy Max Silberman. Austrian-born Silberman graduated in the 18th Class at Ritchie as an Interrogator of Prisoners of War (IPW), and served on IPW team 186 with the 100th Infantry Division. Awarded a Bronze Star for his interrogations, RB Silberman passed away June 25, 2019 at the age of 95. | |||
After the war, his unit was one of the first to liberate Dachau and he interrogated key Nazis prior to the Nuremberg trials. | |||
