William A. Wegener (22 March 1894 – 6 June 1988), also recorded as William A. Wegner, was a Medical Administrative Corps captain who trained at Camp Ritchie in Class 15 and served as an order-of-battle staff officer with the 41st Infantry Division in the Southwest Pacific.

William Albert Wegner (roster title Wegener) was born on 22 March 1894, the son of Adolph Wegner of Brenham, Washington. He graduated Ph.G. from the Medical Department of the University of Texas at Galveston and later married Luella A. Wegner of Clifton, Texas.
He entered service as a Reserve officer on 16 April 1942.
