I've written extensively about the service of Ritchie Boy Capt. Walter Bodlander. Thanks to Dan Gross, I'm able to share the names of the members of 4th Infantry Division's IPW Team 34 that Capt. Sternberg (1921-1990) S/Sgt Otto Brickner (1908-2002) T/3 Ernest Gunzburg (1911-1990) T/5 John H. Baer (1919-1990)
Otto Brickner (1908–2002) was a German-born Ritchie Boy who served overseas as a staff sergeant with IPW Team 34, 4th Infantry Division. Captain [[Bodlander, Walter V. (01176890)|Walter V. Bodlander]] led the team into battle on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Fellow team members included 2nd Lt. [[Kietzmann, Wilfred T. (01031568)|Wilfred T. Kietzmann]], M/Sgt Robert H.
