Joseph Haas (1922–1993) was a Ritchie Boy (from Austria; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 7.

Joseph Haas was born in Austria in 1922 and grew up in Berlin. He fled to New York City in 1939 at age sixteen and became fluent in unaccented English while retaining his native German.
Drafted into the U.S. Army on 3 February 1943, Haas graduated from Camp Ritchie (Class 7) and joined Military Intelligence Team 448-G with the 99th Infantry Division. He helped collect and evaluate enemy information and supervised searches of prisoners.
