John Ernest Dolibois (né Jean Ernst Dolibois; 4 December 1918 – 2 May 2014) was a Luxembourg-born Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 18 and served as a second lieutenant in Army intelligence (G-2). At the Nuremberg trials he interrogated Nazi leader Hermann Göring.
Jean Ernst Dolibois was born on 4 December 1918 in Bonnevoie, Luxembourg. He emigrated to the United States with his father in 1931, settling in Akron, Ohio, where he graduated from North High School and earned a psychology degree at Miami University (Beta Theta Pi).

In the Army (1942–1946) he trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 18), taught German order of battle and Nazi Party hierarchy, and worked for SHAEF. At war’s end he helped interrogate high-ranking German prisoners—including Hermann Göring—at the “Ashcan” facility in Mondorf, Luxembourg, in preparation for the Nuremberg trials.


After the war he became a university administrator and diplomat. President Ronald Reagan appointed him United States Ambassador to Luxembourg in 1981; he served until 1985. He was awarded the Order of the Oak Crown by Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg in 1987. His autobiography, ''Pattern of Circles: An Ambassador's Story'', was published by Kent State University Press in 1989.
Dolibois later became a Miami University administrator, U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg (1981–1985), and author of ''Pattern of Circles''. He died on 2 May 2014 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
