Fischer was born on October 25, 1914 in Great Britain, completed Class 13 in Photo Interpretation and served in the Pacific. Here is Part 1 of the back story. On April 29, 1943 Dorothy Hohenberger enlisted in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC). Hohenberger arrived at Camp Ritchie as a WAAC. The WAAC's were converted to active duty on July 1, 1943 at the Women's Army Corps (WAC). RG Hohenberger completed Special Course SC8 in Photo Interpretation (PI). She then became an instructor in Section VI (photo interpretation). | |||
