Emanuel Suessmann (17 July 1910 – 4 July 1978) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie.
Biography
Emanuel married Louise (Lisl) Schwarzenberger (1907-2000), born in Maßbach to Bernhard and Meta Schwarzenberger, who had immigrated to the United States in 1939. He worked as shipping clerk. Emanuel Suessmann (born Emanuel Süssmann) was a Ritchie Boy. Born July 17 1910 in Leipzig Germany. He was drafted by the United States military, trained at Camp Ritchie, and served in World War II in the Military Intelligence Division in Germany.
