== Biography ==
Douglas stated that his war activities consisted mostly of spending nine delightful months at the University of Minnesota learning to speak incredibly good Swedish (that is a compliment for the Minnesota faculty, not me). The reason for it was and remains obscure.
Douglas Theodore Fuller was born in 1908. Before and after the war he worked in insurance adjustment; a postwar biographical note places him as a branch manager for General Adjustment Bureau in Huntington, West Virginia. He married Kathryn Rinard; their daughter Ruth was born in 1948.

Readjustment to civilian life was duck soup.
During the war Fuller spent about nine months studying Swedish language and customs at the University of Minnesota, then trained in photo intelligence at Camp Ritchie (Class 24). In May–September 1945 he served in France and Germany with the 101st Airborne Division after Bastogne; he wrote that he was not present for the Battle of the Bulge itself.

He trained at Camp Ritchie in Photo Intelligence. He was in both France and Germany with the 101st Airborne (May to September 1945).
He died in 1976.
