[[Bubel, Hans C. (39926772)|Hans Curt Bubel]] was born on 3 October 1925 in Mannheim, Germany, and immigrated to Salt Lake City in 1928. Drafted after high school, he trained in military intelligence at Camp Ritchie (Class 26). He arrived in Europe on VE-Day and searched for enemy documents for the Nuremberg trials. After the war he earned a Ph.D. at the University of Utah and taught medicine for more than thirty years in Cincinnati.
