Biography
Robert H. Sternberg (1921–2001) was a German-born Jewish Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 10 and served with IPW Team 34. After harassment in 1935, his family immigrated to the United States; he arrived in New York on the steamship Volendam on 23 August 1938 and received a naturalization certificate issued 8 May 1943 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
