On July 31, 1942 he enlisted at Fort Jay (Governor’s Island, NY) as Pvt (ASN: 32417389) Frank completed his Basic training at Camp Croft SC on November 6, 1942 and became a naturalized U.S. Ritchie Boy Hauser started his training at Ritchie on June 19, 1944 in the 20th Class 6/19/1944 as a German IPW.
