Frank M. Atchley (21 November 1910 – 8 April 2003) was a Ritchie Boy (from United States; Protestant) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 22.

Biography

Frank M. Atchley (21 November 1910 – 8 April 2003) completed the 22nd class at the Military Intelligence Training Center, Camp Ritchie, Maryland (certificate dated 21 October 1944), as a captain of Field Artillery (ASN 0306244). He was stationed for a time at the 13th Replacement Depot, Oahu, Hawaii; he was slated for Okinawa but was held back after code material was broken.

After the war he served as Dean of Agriculture at the Army University Center at Camp McCoy and was discharged on 8 November 1946. He later completed an Instructor Training Course at Fort Knox, Kentucky (certificate of proficiency, 22 June 1951), and received reserve appointments as major (1952) and lieutenant colonel (1953).
