John Zila (12 August 1917 – 1 July 1987) was a Ritchie Boy (from United States; Catholic) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 29.

Biography

. John was born August 12, 1917 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. Records indicate that John was discharged on January 25, 1946 as a Sergeant. John passed away on July 1, 1987 at the age of 70. He enlisted on September 1, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. He resided in Essex County, Massachusetts at the time. He earned the Good Conduct Medal. He may have served at Camp Ritchie for an extended period of time.
