Vernon O. Heyman (1920–2011) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 15 and served with IPW Team 60.
Biography
Vivian Heyman Golden has inquired about any information on her late Father, Ritchie Boy Vernon O. His ID number was 39132733 and he passed away at age 90 in 2011. One document she was able to find online was dated 7 February 1945, 134th Infantry Regiment, IPW Team 50, APO 35, U.S. Army) and refers to "Tec 3 Heyman being severely wounded in action (see previously submitted report on this subject)." She would like to know more about this incident, and we will to try to see if anything can be found about this incident.
