Donald A. Sinclair (Donald Arleigh Sinclair) was born in 1916. He earned a B.A. In classics from Rutgers University (1936) and studied librarianship and history at Columbia University. After ASTP he trained at [[Camp Ritchie]] with [[:Category:Class 18|Class 18]] and served as a technician fifth grade with [[Team IPW 90|IPW Team 90]]. On 20 August 1944, MIS ETO Special Orders No. 224 listed him with the team when PW interrogation teams were attached to G-2, Forward Echelon Communications Zone. | |||
In 1946 Sinclair joined Rutgers as the university’s first curator of special collections, building holdings that by 1981 included over 70,000 monographs, pamphlets, periodicals, and serials. That year Rutgers created the Donald Arleigh Sinclair New Jersey Collection in his honor. He died in 2004. | |||
