Hans Alan Land (born 1922) was a United States Army Private who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 8. Hans enlisted at Hartford, Connecticut. A Berlin-born Ritchie Boy who served in England and whose family story was preserved in a 2012 interview.

Biography

Hans A. Land was born in Berlin in 1922 to Gustav and Martha Land. His early life was shaped by Nazi persecution of Jewish families; he later trained at Camp Ritchie and served with U.S. forces in England. He died in 2021.
