Kenneth Abraham Kaneb was a Ritchie Boy. Kenneth was born in November 13, 1911 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He enlisted on March 26, 1941 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Attached is his certificate for graduating the 2nd Class at Camp Ritchie. He graduated as a Corporal. It seems that Kenneth may have been injured in battle. Hospital records show on November 1942, he was admitted to the hospital. It appears he was later discharged from service due to the injury, in March 1944. According to the National Jewish Welfare Board card on Kenneth, he was awarded a Purple Heart. Kenneth passed away on July 23, 1999 at the age of 87.
