The 60 Minutes program on May 9 has led to a number of people digging into their Father's or Grandfather's records and discovering that they were Ritchie Boys. Here is a excellent example. Alfred White from Massachusetts "joined the 87th infantry that later became the 10th Mountain Division. He was then sent to Fort Benning for officer training where he was then sent to Camp Ritchie for Intelligence Training. He was not Jewish but his grandmother was German and he spoke German. He was severely injured in Aachen on October 8, 1944 and discharged with a 100% disability.
