Biography
Here is another amazing Ritchie Boy story! Ritchie Boy Ladislas Vajna (he often went by Ladi (pronounced Lad-ee)) was born in Hungary, but was in the French Army working undercover for the French Resistance during the start of WWII. Ritchie Boy Vajna's wife (Ludwika "Inka" Vajna) and daughter (Ottilie "Lee") (see photo below) were being hidden in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France. Fortunately, the family managed to escape to the United States with the Nazi's at their heels. Please help the Ritchie Boys gain recognition for their amazing achievements by contacting your Senators and Representative to ask them to co-sponsor a Bill to award the Ritchie Boys the Congressional Gold Medal.
