(39282127)|Henry Arnhold]], the last member of a generation of prominent German Jewish bankers who escaped Nazi persecution, re-established their family business in the New World and later helped rebuild Dresden after the fall of the Iron Curtain, died on Aug. 23 2018 at his home in Manhattan. Henry H. Arnhold (also known as Heinrich; 1921–2018) was a German-born Jewish Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 10. A member of a German Jewish banking family that escaped Nazi persecution, he later re-established the family business in the United States and helped rebuild Dresden after the fall of the Iron Curtain. He died on 23 August 2018 at his home in Manhattan.
