Biography

Captain Frederick (Fred) W. Hellman (1912–1991) was a Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 20 and served with IPW Teams 411 and 164. By June he was serving in France and later Germany with teammates including Harold Bergstrom, Andrew Akos, Jack Hillesum, and Rudolph E. Friedman.
