Charles B. Eells Jr. (31 January 1918 – 3 August 1991) was a Ritchie Boy who trained at Camp Ritchie in terrain intelligence after serving as an artillery officer in the Pacific.
Biography
Charles Burton Eells Jr. was a Ritchie Boy. Born January 31 1918. He attended Field Artillery School as an Officer Candidate in 1943 at Fort Sill. Served with Battery B, 246th on Guadalcanal and Bougainville, Nov 43 - Dec 44. At Camp Ritchie, he trained in Terrain Intelligence for 8 weeks. Charles passed away August 3 1991 Attached are some documents, a photo of Charles in uniform, and one from the 1950s, as well as his identity card.
