Biography
I'm saddened to report the passing of Ritchie Boy Col. (Ret.) Werner Michel, 96, on November 7, 2020. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on May 14, 2021, at 3 p.m Werner was a lifelong, humble patriot who was deeply grateful to his adopted country for all the opportunities that it gave him. As a newly trained 'Ritchie Boy' counter-intelligence and interrogation officer, he returned to Germany, charged with apprehending senior Nazi officers.
