Herman Mendels (1911–1997) was a United States Army Technical Sergeant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 20. Herman enlisted at Baltimore, Maryland.
Biography
Majored in Medicine at University of Cologne (4 years, non-grad). Worked as shipping clerk, office help. In December 1942, he was promoted to Corporal, served as clerk (Fort Eustis). In September 1943, he was promoted to T/Sgt, served as Chief Clerk (Fort Eustis). In November 1944, Became member of IPW Team 121 (and/or Team 128) attached to.
