Frank M. Atchley (1910–2003) was a Ritchie Boy (from United States; Protestant) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 22.

Biography

Here is some information on RB Frank Atchley, born November 21 1910, and passed away April 8, 2003. Frank was stationed in Hawaii for some time, at the 13th Replacement Depot, Oahu. He was to be deployed to Okinawa, but was held back due to code being broken. Frank completed the 22nd course at MITC Richie, Oct 21 1944. He was a Captain. At the end of the war, Frank was Dean of Agriculture at the Army University, at then Camp McCoy. On November 8 1946 Frank was discharged from the Army. June 1951, Frank was in Fort Knox, Kentucky for a Instructor Training Course. October 14 1952, he was appointed a Major in the reserves. October 1 1953, he was appointed a Lieutenant Colonel in the reserves. Attached are some accompanying documents for Frank, as well as a photo.
