- 27 July 1943 — Promoted to Cpl.
- 15 November 1943 — Arrived at Camp Ritchie. Started 2-week Special Course (B-6) on Counter Intelligence.
- 25 February 1944 — HQ, CIC, ETOUSA.
- 3 March 1944 — HQ, 1st CIC Detachment (1st Infantry Division).
- 25 October 1944 — Recommendation for Bronze Star Medal (period 3/8 to 15 July 1944).
