Ernest W. Beissinger (1920–2019) was a United States Army Sergeant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 8.

Biography

Ernest worked as art expert for Duveen Bros; (Getty; Da Vinci). He worked as appliance salesman and auto mechanic.

In August 1942, Beissinger completed basic training with 318th Infantry Regiment. In January 1943, he section Leader with Regiment as Sgt. Beissinger trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 8). He served with IPW Team 76 attached to 80th Infantry Division.
