Edmundo F. Diniz (1924–2010), also known as Edmund Dinis, was a Portugal-born Ritchie Boy (Class 18) who enlisted from Massachusetts.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Edmundo F. Diniz, also known as Edmund Dinis, was born in 1924 in Portugal and later lived in Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at Boston and trained at the Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie (Class 18, Section 6H), serving as a private first class.
Diniz's papers and related materials are held by the Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives at UMass Dartmouth. He died in 2010.
