Frank J. Kijek (1919–1997) was a United States Army Private First Class who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 16.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Frank attended From what I was told, there was a high turn over in this class, many students dropped out and out of an initial class of around 50 students, only about a dozen graduated. He attended Upon graduating from high school, my dad attended the Walsh Institute in Detroit where he studied accountancy and business. While he was at Walsh, he worked for the Aircraft Division of the Murray Corporation in Detroit where he was a draftsman. He worked as Stenographer and clerk.
