Edmond B. Wronski (1914 – 20 July 1990) was a New York–born Ritchie Boy (Class 3) who taught at Camp Ritchie and later served as G-2 in the Philippines and Okinawa.

Biography

Edmond B. Wronski was born in 1914 in New York City, the son of Stefan and Sophia (Sommers) Wronski, and grew up in Hell's Kitchen. Before the war he performed in New York burlesque with his wife Martha under stage names, then entered Army service.

Wronski trained and taught at the Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie (Class 3). He graduated from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and served as chief of staff–Intelligence (G-2) in Luzon, Philippines, and in Okinawa. He retired as a lieutenant colonel.

After the war he worked for Royal Typewriter for about twenty-five years, rising from salesman in New York to branch and district sales manager, and later ran an independent dealership until retiring in 1981. He lived many years in Warwick, Rhode Island, and died on 20 July 1990 at Kent County Memorial Hospital at age 75.
