- Born 7 October 1918 in U. S.
- 1 April 1942 — Enlisted at Camp Grant, IL as Pvt (ASN 16069520).
- 24 December 1942 — Promoted to Cpl.
- 1 May 1943 — HQ 77th RCN Gp, AAF, Abilene TX. Promoted to Sgt.
- 16 July 1943 — Graduated Class 8 (PI).
- One of four Ritchie Boys who were members of an Air Force Reconnaissance Group and who died when the Liberty ship SS Paul Hamilton on which they were traveling was hit by an aerial torpedo while in the Mediterranean in April 1944.
