Ernest Torrez (1923 – 27 August 1994) was a Ritchie Boy (from United States; Catholic) who trained at Camp Ritchie.
Biography
. In July, 1945, it seems that Ernest was admitted to the hospital at Camp Ritchie, and had unfortunately got tuberculosis, and was discharged/retired for disability for medical reasons. Ernest passed away on August 27, 1994 at the age of 70. He enlisted on December 9, 1942. According to the attached enlisted record and report of separation document, he served over 2 years stateside.
