Ilya E. Wolston-Volfovsky (1918–1984) was a United States Army Private who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 10.

Biography

Ilya worked as interpreter for business concerns. After being drafted in 1942, he became an American citizen, and changed his name to Wolston. On 23 July 1943, he entered Class 10 (Russian). On 20 September 1943, he graduated from Class 10. On 27 September 1943, he was promoted to T/4. On 1 October 1943, he was released from Camp Ritchie. From 1946 to 1949, he worked for the State Dept in Berlin.
