Ernest R. Sons (1917–2016) was a United States Army Second Lieutenant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 6.
Biography
From 1936 to 1940, Ernest attended Miami University (Ohio) (BA Botany).
On 13 March 1943, he entered Class 6 (Terrain Intelligence). On 11 May 1943 he graduated from Class 6. On 5 June 1944 he was promoted to first lieutenant. On 2 June 1945 he was promoted to Captain. On 29 September 1945 he was released from Camp Ritchie.
