Biography

Herbert worked as Manager of Coffee Shop and Restaurant. From 1940 to 1941 he attended college (Pratt Institute) one year.

In 1943, he was transferred to Camp Ritchie. On 7 April 1943 he was drafted at Newark NJ as Pvt (ASN: 32912133). On 25 August 1943 he entered Class 11 (IPW Ge). On 23 October 1943 he graduated from Class 11. On 14 December 1943 he graduated from Ger OB Class 8.
