Alfred Oppenheimer (1926–1995) was a Ritchie Boy (from Germany; Jewish) who trained at Camp Ritchie in class 25.

Biography

Alfred served as Counter intelligence agent to find Nazi officials. He was drafted when he was 17 or 18 - they pulled him out of school and he got his GED in the army. He spoke about interrogating germans and seeing the camps. He was with the Interrogation Prisoner of War team 6th Armored Division: interrogated German POW's and participated in counter- intelligence activities in seeking out and apprehending political prisoners." Below is a photo of Ritchie Boy Alfred Oppenheimer as well as a sketch of RB Oppenheimer done by a German POW! The were sent in by the late Ritchie Boy's son and daughter. He was with an Interrogation of Prisoners of War Team attached to the 6th Armored Division, and also served in the Counter-Intelligence Corp seeking out and aprohending political prisoners.
