Victor E. Delnore (1914–1998) was a United States Army Captain who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 2.

Biography

Victor returned to the States, earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland, and, at age 55, became a teacher of government and history at a local community college. He became a derivative American citizen in 1932, and in 1940 was called up to active Army duty. He trained to become an administrator of occupied territories instead, and, on September 23, 1946, Colonel Victor Delnore arrived in Nagasaki to set up headquarters for his Nagasaki Military Government Team.
