Paul A. Mayer (born 1907) was a United States Army Staff Sergeant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 16. Paul enlisted at Ft Jay Governors Island, New York.
Biography
After attending school in Cologne, Paul Mayer studied law at universities in Geneva (Switzerland), Berlin, and Cologne and became a member of the Cologne High Court (Court of Appeals). He worked as shipping clerk/expeditor. He in May 1940 the couple immigrated to the United States, where they settled in New York City. He in August 1942 Paul Mayer joined the United States Army. On 5 February 1943, he became a naturalized citizen in Jacksonville, FL.
