Ira Spiro Barzilay (born 1919) was a United States Army soldier associated with Camp Ritchie, Maryland.
Biography
Ira returned to California after the war and started a furniture manufacturing company called Barzilay that produced high quality trendy modern designs that are now known as Mid-Century Modern. He graduated with an engineering degree from Stanford then enlisted in the US Army, where he was sent to West Point to become a combat engineer. He later gave up his acting career to enter World War II, as a captain with the Corps of Army Engineers.

- Actor. A native of New York, he was a child prodigy on the piano. Although not a key player, he appeared in several of the "Our Gang" and "Little Rascals" comedy shorts of the 1930s, usually as a child playing the piano. He also appeared in a 20-minute short film with child actress Shirley Temple entitled, "Dora's Dunking Doughnuts" in 1933. He later.
