Hans R. Herzberg (1919–2017) was a United States Army Private First Class who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 18.

Biography

In January 1944, Herzberg attended As Pfc, selected for ASTP training at University of Pennsylvania. Hans worked as electric arc welder. He selected quotes from “History of a Combat Regiment 1939-1945”, edited by Max Gissen and published in Salzburg, Austria in 1945. He in late March, 1,000 ASTP replacements from New England colleges joined the division.
