Bruno O. Rohlffs (1920–2009) was a United States Army soldier who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 25 and later served with the 970th Counter Intelligence Corps Detachment.
Biography
Bruno O. Rohlffs was born in Germany in 1920 and later lived in Wisconsin. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at Milwaukee and trained at Camp Ritchie (Class 25).
After the war Rohlffs served with the 970th Counter Intelligence Corps Detachment. In November 1946 he was among twenty-one CIC special agents ordered on a sixty-day mission in the French Occupied Zone of Germany. Other Ritchie Boys named on that order included Erich Dreyfuss, Anthony Federici, Helmut Frey, Leo Grey, Wolfgang Hoffer, and Arnold Oppenheimer.
Rohlffs died in 2009.
