Henry S. Hibbard (1919–1976) was a United States Army second lieutenant who trained at Camp Ritchie, Maryland, in Class 3 after tank-destroyer OCS.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Henry S. Hibbard was born in 1919 in the United States. He enlisted in the Army at Helena, Montana, on 9 March 1942 and received basic training in a tank-destroyer unit at San Luis Obispo, California. Selected for Officer Candidate School at Camp Hood, Texas, he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the tank destroyer command on 30 October 1942.

By late November 1942 Hibbard was stationed at the Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie, Maryland; roster records place him in Class 3 (Field Artillery). He died in 1976.
