Arthur J. Watzinger served as Technician Third Grade with IPW Team 72. On 22 May 1944, Replacement Depot No. 2 Special Orders No. 125 assigned the team to Headquarters, MIS, ETOUSA, for duty with the Field Interrogation Detachment (FID), to proceed to APO 887. On 23 May 1944, Hq MIS ETOUSA Special Orders No. 135 placed IPW Team 72 on detached service with FID. On 2 June 1944, Hq MIS ETOUSA Special Orders No. 145 attached IPW Team 72 to Third U.S. Army for duty with Hq XII Corps.
